THE DUNWICH HORROR
Here is a piece I did recently based on the H.P. Lovecraft story “The Dunwich Horror” for “Puffed Shoggoths”, Trevor Henderson’s upcoming HP Lovecraft art zine . This gave me the chance to finally start reading some of the Lovecraft stories that have been sitting on my book shelf for some time. I was really drawn to his unheard of textures and horrors that are completely beyond our understanding and seem to always be just out of view.
I do believe that’s Lavinia Whateley (Ma) and me as a tyke. :)

No idea who took the photo, otherwise I would gladly give credit.
It’s a promotional image for Dark Night of the Soul, a collaborative album between Danger Mouse (on our left), David Lynch, and Sparklehorse (on our right).
Still not sure about who actually took the photo though.
Breathtaking, recently unearthed photograph of John Cale and Lou Reed on the streets of midtown Manhattan in 1968, by Joel Meyerowitz, who posted this to his Facebook page:
“I’ve been looking for this picture for days, ever since I heard about Lou Reed’s death. I shot it in 1968 on 5th ave, just casual shot of an interesting looking guy, only to discover later on that it was Lou Reed and John Cale.”
